Shield
Brick red and golden yellow are the colors used for the Transportation Corps. The division of the shield into two parts alludes to the dual function of the Transportation Corps, service and supply. The cylinder and eccentric ring, symbolic of motor vehicles, refer to the mission of the unit to give superior mobility for military personnel, weapons and supplies to organizations, activities and operations. The blue hand grenade represents the Infantry Division to which this Battalion is assigned.
